This week Renée Fleming's possible retirement from work in staged opera productions has been discussed a lot. Although she is not quitting opera completely, she is planning to focus more on her recitals and recordings and discovering new music to sing.

I have always admired her singing of Russian repertoire with perfect pronunciation and deep feeling of Russian music. I am looking forward for her recitals in the years to come, maybe we will hear some more Russian music performed by this true opera super star.
